People Partnerships and Possibilities
The People Partnerships and Possibilities Network Project (PPP) was funded by the Campebllford Seymour Community Foundation. It was open to all service organizations, community services organizations and not-for profit organization based in and working in Trent Hills. In 2008, there were two planning sessions and three workshops facilitated by the Compass Training Centre called: "On the Road To Partnerships in Trent Hills".
As part of the planning process, the YWCA’s Compass Training Centre researched training needs of the twenty two PPP network organizations, as well as opportunities for partnership. A key outcome of the research was direction for a shared vision of what a vibrant Trent Hills will be like. The individual vision pictures were given to a local artist to interpret. After several rounds of feedback from the network members a beautiful vision poster was finalized. The poster is a source of inspiration for working together across the three distinct communities of Trent Hills. The vision poster is also evidence of a shift in awareness within the PPP. The network started out being about sharing information between groups and organizations from Warkworth, Campbellford and Hastings and ended up being about how to work together in caring and respectful ways.

In 2009 and 2010, YWCA's Compass Training Centre has received funding for Project STRONG (Strengthening Rural Organizations in Northumberland), from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Compass Training will be working one on one with five organizations to do capacity assessment, strategic planning, training, coaching and support for organizational development activities. The organizations include:
- Campbellford Palliative Care
- Northumberland Big Sisters Big Brother
- VON, Trent Hills Nursing Team
- Northumberland United Way
- Campbellford Seymour Community Foundation
